Improved environmental impact:
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conducted by ANKA Sustainable Solutions, with a third-party review carried out in accordance with ISO 14071:2024, confirms that AETHIC Reef-Safe Sunscreen SPF50 demonstrates a lower environmental impact in 11 of the 16 quantified EF 3.1 impact categories compared to both reference alternatives, along with a carbon footprint that is 45% lower than the representative market alternative. An analysis within AETHIC’s independently reviewed Life Cycle Assessment, using the ReCiPe methodology, found AETHIC’s marine ecotoxicity score (during production) to be up to 52% lower than representative market.
