ECo Marina

About the product

ECo Marina replaces the entire steel reinforcements in floating pontoons with composite bars, mesh, and combination of carbon and glass fibres. The use of these materials ensures a much stronger and lighter reinforcement than steel, because carbon is non corrosive.

Improved environmental impact

ECo Marina reduces CO2 emissions by 20% compared to steel and concrete pontoons. Standard steel reinforced concrete pontoons have maximum theoretical life span of 50 years, while the lifetime for carbon composite reinforced pontoons is estimated at 80 years, meaning the total CO2 footprint compared with standard pontoons is half, in it's lifetime.Learn more.
