Assessing your yacht or fleet is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operating systems’ efficiency and potential to mitigate environmental impact…
The next episode of the YETI Webinar Series, taking place on Friday, 6 September, 11:00 – 11:45 CEST, will uncover how scores for the Yacht Environmental Transparency Index (YETI) are calculated and should be interpreted based on the input and output data, making clear why a yacht performs better or worse than the average in its category and therefore how to improve it accordingly.
YETI Webinar Series
In this 6-episode series, we share the background, scientific approach, and real-world application of the YETI method. Episode 1 laid the groundwork, Episode 2 explored the core methodology, and Episode 3 dove into the environmental basis of this leading method.
Episode 4
Join us to discover the process of reporting and interpreting the results of a YETI score. Our Executive Director Robert van Tol & Technical Director Hanna Dąbrowska will offer an in-depth look at what is included in the YETI report, how we use a reference line to benchmark the environmental performance of yachts, and our method to ensure that calculations are clear, replicable, and more than just a one-time evaluation.
Programme outline
2 more webinars will be offered following this episode, with dates for the follow-up sessions TBD:
5. YETI in Action: Assess & Upgrade the Existing Fleet
6. Optimising with YETI: Improving New Build Projects with Environmental Insights
Cost
Each session is priced at €25, with proceeds directed towards ongoing YETI project developments (e.g. software creation). Foundation partners may attend free of cost.
To pre-register for the remaining 3 sessions all at once and receive a 25% discount on the total cost, please send us an email at info@waterrevolutionfoundation.org.
Kindly RSVP here before Friday, 23 August to secure your spot, as seats are limited.
As YETI solidifies itself as an industry-wide method to assess the environmental performance of superyachts, it is crucial that you understand how scores are being interpreted based on the data you provide. Will we see you there?
